What happened to Picuki
The original is gone
Picuki ran for years as a web viewer for public Instagram content and then stopped working. Tools in this category live or die by their access to the source, and when that access breaks for good, the site goes with it.
The name outlived the site
Search demand for the name did not disappear when the service did, so other sites picked it up. Several unrelated projects now use it in their domain or headline. They are not continuations of the original, whatever the branding suggests.
